When one finds a worthy wife, her value is far beyond pearls.
Her husband, entrusting his heart to her, has an unfailing prize.
She brings him good, and not evil, all the days of her life.
She obtains wool and flax and makes cloth with skillful hands.
Proverbs 31:10-13
I have been very lucky to have first hand experience with the truth of this scripture.
Curiously, I haven't found a similar passage about husbands. Maybe wives don't need to be told this truth as often?
You know, the way I read this, I think it says something about both the husband and the wife. My take on it is, the husband in that society was presumed to be worthy; no one would even have questioned it. Obviously, we'd question that today, and it couldn't have been universally true even then, but that was the way of thinking.
So, when the worthy husband met a worthy wife, the partnership that was formed between them was ... well, we'd say sacramental. It was a great gift, and it still is today, when two people come together in love that way, and form a lasting partnership.

Complaints are the greatest offerings that God obtains from human beings, as well as the most faithful prayers human beings might utter toGod. I thought It was very reasonable

There's a huge difference between rigorous honesty and brutal honesty... one is spiritual and the other is mean-spirited. If you don't know the difference you'll find out sooner or later by the empty seats around you.
